Why I Love Rad Studio

Why I Love Rad Studio

There are places you visit because you need something.

And then there are places you visit because you simply like how you feel when you’re there.

RAD Studio is both.

It’s a beautiful little spot to sit down with a coffee and a treat, catch up with someone local or have the kind of meeting that feels more like a conversation. It’s comfortable and welcoming, without trying too hard to be either.

But what I especially love about RAD is its very human approach to work.

It understands that good work doesn’t always happen under fluorescent lights or across a formal boardroom table. Sometimes it happens over coffee. Sometimes it starts with running into someone you know. Sometimes you need to step away from your usual surroundings, settle into a comfortable chair and let an idea take shape.

RAD makes room for all of that.

It’s also somewhere you can shop thoughtfully, with hyper-local consumables, eco-friendly products and useful things that have clearly been chosen with care. You can pick up something made nearby, discover a better everyday alternative or find a small treat that makes an ordinary day feel a little nicer.

As someone who believes deeply in small things, well chosen, that part speaks to me.

RAD Studio feels like a reflection of the Chatham I love most: creative, collaborative, unpretentious and full of people quietly building good things.

It’s a place to work, meet, shop, sip and stay awhile.

And really, don’t we need more places like that?
