If I’m honest, The Curious Gift Co. has been sitting quietly in the back of my mind for about 15 years. It wasn’t a lightning-bolt idea. It was more like a soft nudge that never really went away — a little voice saying, “One day… when the time is right.”

Fifteen years ago, it wasn’t the right time. Life was different, priorities were different, and the world was definitely different. But lately? Everything finally aligned. The timing feels right. I feel ready. And that’s why we’re here — the dream that waited patiently is finally getting its moment.

This shop grew out of something simple and true: thoughtful gifts make people feel seen. The real kind of thoughtful — not perfectly wrapped, not over-the-top, not curated to Pinterest standards. Just meaningful. Human. A “this reminded me of you” moment.

And to be clear, I am not the person who expresses love through baking. I am the person who buys the baked goods and delivers them like I spent all afternoon in the kitchen. (It still counts. It’s the intention!) That’s the heart of this store: generous, sincere, a little cheeky, and full of the kind of gifts that brighten someone’s day without any added pressure.

But this shop is also a love letter to home.

Will there be a physical store? Yes — when the time is right. I’m not rushing it, and I don’t want to create hype for something that needs room to grow.
